5. What personal data do we collect about you?

The register may contain the following information and updates to such information:

Basic customer information

  • Name details

  • Contact information (postal address, email addresses, phone numbers)

  • Gender

  • Date of birth

  • Information regarding the profession or position of contact persons of corporate customers

  • Customer identification details

  • Personal identity code

  • Customer number

  • Registration information related to the controller’s services (e.g., usernames and passwords for the online store and back-end services)

  • Identifiers used for marketing targeting

Information Related to Customer Relationships, Other Legitimate Connections, and the Use of Services and Content

  • Purchase information, such as details of purchased products and services, including warranty information, and necessary information regarding payments, invoicing, and debt collection, including credit card information

  • Information related to product usage

  • Feedback and complaints

  • Information regarding participation in events and training sessions

  • Location data (if the customer has expressly given permission)

  • Browsing information and other information concerning the use of the controller’s electronic services and content, including technical information sent by the user’s browser to the controller’s server (IP address, browser type), as well as cookies and related information where personal data is linked to cookies

  • Information related to marketing and sales promotion, such as marketing actions directed at the customer, their utilization, information provided in connection with them, and direct marketing permissions and prohibitions

  • Recordings of customer service calls and customer service-related email and online discussions, for example on social media channels


6. Regular sources of information

  • Information concerning the customer is collected directly from the customer when entering into an agreement, through the personal information section of online services, during the use of products and services, in connection with customer service, and when participating in product and service development, studies, or surveys.

  • Personal data may also be collected and updated from other registers maintained by the controller and companies belonging to the same corporate group, as well as from authorities and companies providing personal data services, such as the population information system and other similar registers.


7. How we use cookies

  • We use cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, to provide and develop our services. We also use cookies to personalize content and target advertising. Cookies enable us to provide more up-to-date and personalized services by displaying content based on users' interests. They also facilitate functions such as login and authentication, saving personal settings and preferences, and analyzing the operation of our websites. When using our online services, information such as IP address, links used, advertisements or other content viewed, the pages from which you arrive and visit, browsing time, browser or application type, and other similar information may be collected.

  • The use of cookies can be controlled through browser management settings. More information about cookies can be found in the privacy or help documentation of each browser. Certain functionalities of our services depend on cookies, therefore blocking or deleting cookies may adversely affect the functionality and user experience of the web or mobile application service concerned.


8. To Whom do we disclose your personal data?

Personal data may only be disclosed within the limits permitted and required by applicable legislation and as demanded by competent authorities. The controller may share your personal data with carefully selected third parties for joint or independent direct marketing purposes. Data will only be shared for such purposes when the intended use by the third party is not inconsistent with the purposes defined in this Privacy Policy.

The controller may share the personal data of participants in events organized by the controller with other participants of the same event when appropriate considering the nature of the event.

The controller may transfer information to its own direct marketing register after the termination of a legitimate relationship, within the limits permitted by law.

The controller may share your personal data with third parties providing services to the controller. Such services may include customer service, software services, research activities, marketing, and event production. The controller may also share your personal data for collecting payments related to products and services and may transfer or sell unpaid invoices to third parties providing debt collection services.

Protecting your personal data is important to us. Therefore, we do not permit such parties to use the information for purposes other than providing the relevant services, and we require them to protect users' personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable legislation.

Personal data is not regularly disclosed for purposes other than those mentioned above. However, the controller is entitled to disclose personal data as permitted by law, for example in connection with the sale of business operations. In addition, the controller may disclose data for statistical and analytical purposes in such a way that the disclosed information cannot be linked to an individual person.


10. Do we trensfer your personal data outside the EU?

When providing services, the controller may use resources and servers located in different parts of the world. Consequently, the controller may transfer your personal data outside the country where the services are used and potentially also to countries outside the European Union whose data protection legislation differs from that of the EU.

In such cases, the controller ensures that a lawful basis exists for the transfer and that the user's personal data is protected, for example, by using standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authorities where necessary and by requiring appropriate technical and other data protection measures.

11. How long will my personal data be retained?

We retain your data at least for the duration of the customer relationship. After the customer relationship has ended, the retention period depends on the nature of the information and its intended use. For example, customer identification data is retained for five years after the end of the customer relationship, and information concerning prospective customers is generally retained for six months from collection. We comply with statutory obligations relating to data retention.

We strive to keep personal data accurate and up to date by removing unnecessary information and updating outdated information. However, we encourage you to review the accuracy of your information from time to time.


12. How is your personal data protected?

We protect your personal data with great care by using appropriate privacy and information security measures. Such measures include proactive and reactive risk management, the use of firewalls, encryption technologies, secure facilities, access control and security systems, secure planning, controlled granting and monitoring of access rights, ensuring the competence of personnel involved in personal data processing through training and assessments, and the careful selection of subcontractors. We continuously update our internal practices and guidelines as appropriate.

13. Your rights as our customer

We are committed to processing data in accordance with the GDPR and provide our users with the following choices and control options concerning privacy:

Direct Marketing Opt-Out

Users have the right to prohibit the disclosure and processing of their data for direct advertising, distance selling, and other forms of direct marketing by contacting our customer service.

Access to Information

Users have the right to inspect the personal data stored about them. Upon request, we will correct, delete, or supplement inaccurate, unnecessary, incomplete, or outdated personal data relevant to the purpose of processing. Users may update and/or review their personal data by contacting our customer service.

Blocking Cookies

Users may prevent the use of cookies by changing their browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect the functionality of our services.

Deleting Cookies

Users may delete cookies through their browser settings. By regularly clearing cookies, users change the identifier used to create their profile. Deleting cookies does not completely stop data collection, but rather resets the profile based on previous behavioral data.

Consent to the Use of Location Data

Users may grant consent for the use of location data through the settings of their device and application. Such consent may also be withdrawn at any time through the same settings.


14. Can this privacy be changed?

We continuously develop our services and reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy by providing notice within our services. Changes may also result from changes in legislation. We recommend reviewing the contents of this Privacy Policy regularly.
